We are all aware of the trouble our economy is in and that unemployment is over 10 percent. These problems have affected all of us, but no one more than the thousands of people in our own community that rely on help from United Way funded programs.
Your neighbor may need help supplementing their heating bill, a single mother may need child care, an elderly friend hopes for a home delivered meal, or that youth that needs a little guidance. These and more are the much needed programs that your United Way donations support.
When I say “Live United,” I mean we are all in this together and we should help our neighbors. In these critical times I urge you to make your donation to United Way this year. I guarantee it will make you feel good.
