The Watkins Glen boys took fifth place and the girls earned a second place finish at the IAC Tournament on Saturday at the Valley Bowling Center.

Waverly took home first for the girls with 2549 total pins and Watkins Glen knocked down 2354 pins, Odessa-Montour finished fifth (2224) and Notre Dame posted a seventh place finish (2094)

For the boys, Union Springs-Port Byron placed first with 3376 pins, Watkins Glen finished seventh (2929), Odessa-Montour posted a seventh place finish (2573) and Notre Dame placed ninth (2289).

Liz Mason rolled a 569 series for the Watkins Glen girls including a 215 game.

“It was Liz Mason’s last IAC tournament, she led her team, and I am proud of her,” Watkins Glen head coach Ward Brower said.

Hayley Cornish posted a 540 series (208, 155, 177) and Nancy Jackson bowled a 173 game. “Hayley has been getting better and better all season, being only a 1st year freshman, her progress has been amazing,” said Brower.
