CORNING - Addison used a five-run fourth inning to secure a 6-4 win over Campbell in the Cinderella World Series 19-under championship game Sunday.
Trailing 2-1 after the first inning, Addison took advantage of two singles, two doubles and two Campbell errors to take the lead.
Laura Burrell and Lexi Easling each doubled in the inning, while Korri Jones and Sadie Morse tallied the singles. Sammi English and Hannah Roy each reached on error and scored.
In the circle, Easling went the distance for Addison, striking out seven in the game.
Burrell singled and scored in the top of the first inning to give Addison an early lead.
Campbell responded with two runs in its half of the first inning - with Cassidy Fenner and Jordan Cole scoring.
Campbell added a solo run in the fifth as Makayla Brezinski singled and scored, before Megan Lyke doubled and scored in the sixth inning.
