BIG FLATS - Kevin Cook fired a second-round 73 and will take a two-shot lead into today's final round of the Twin Tiers Golf Championship.

Today's round is being played at Mark Twain Golf Course and all golfers will be starting on Hole 10.

Cook, who began the day with a three-shot lead, found the going a little rough being in the morning groups.

"It was very windy early - it was tough," Cook said. 

Cook has a two-day total of 3-under par 141.

Rick Olson, who carded an even-par round of 72 Saturday, is two shots behind Cook. Ben Howe begins five shots behind after a 74.

The threesome of Cook, Olson and Howe will tee off at 11:20 p.m.

Rounding out the Championship flight are Alan Diffenderfer (149), Jerid Reilly (150), Zach Sitzman (150), Jason Hurley (155), Ed Mazza (155) and Mike Fortuna (157).

The first flight will include Larry Moon (157), Eric Muller (157), Ryan Murrelle (157), Jim Rogers (157), Ray Hoobler (158), Chip Keister (158), Donald Vangorder (159), Richard Wood (159) and Dave Zinni (159).

The first golfers will begin play at 8 a.m.

The Women's Championship will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the threesome of Renee Hider, Wendy Brooks and Debbie Knoll. The final group will tee off at 11:40 a.m. and will feature Karen Davis, Betsy Folmar and Emily Cunningham.
