ADDISON - Prattsburgh used a strong first half to top Addison 55-41 on Friday in a Steuben County Athletic Association league matchup.

The Vikings got off to a quick 9-0 start with five points from Lauren Robbins and buckets from Hannah Wijkamp and Hannah Hopkins. Prattsburgh ended the first quarter up 12-3.

In the second quarter, after Bionca Conklin netted a layup for the Knights and Lauryn Moore responded with a hoop, the Vikings went on a 13-2 run that put them up 27-7. Jenna Pinckney had nine points in that span.

The Knights outscored the Vikings 32-26 in the second half, but ultimately fell short.

Lauren Robbins had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Prattsburgh, while Jenna Pinckney had 11 points and Hannah Hopkins contributed nine points and five rebounds.

Hannah Roy led the Knights with 13 points and Tayah Jackson added 10 points.

"Our girls answered the call tonight, they dominated on both ends of the court," Prattsburgh head coach Jeff Gilbert said. "This was a big win for us tonight."

Addison (5-2) will travel to Bath on January 4 in its next contest while Prattsburgh (6-1)
