KESHEQUA — Campbell-Savona picked up a 52-28 win over Bolivar-Richburg in the first round of the Keshequa Tournament on Wednesday.
The Panthers got off to a 10-8 start after the first quarter, but exploded in the second quarter, outscoring Bolivar-Richburg 20-10 on the strength of two 3-pointers from Megan Bryan. Katie Page added four points in the quarter.
Campbell-Savona outscored Bolivar-Richburg 22-10 in the second half.
Mya Gravis led Bolivar-Richburg with eight points.
Ivy Phillip had 15 points for the Panthers and Bryan chipped in 10 points.
Hoops for the Hospital Tournament
Watkins Glen 54, Bishop Grimes 43
BISHOP GRIMES - Watkins Glen improved to 8-0 with a 54-43 win over Bishop Grimes in the Hoops for the Hospital Tournament on Wednesday.
Hannah Morse had 18 points for the Senecas and Ryanna LaMoreaux recorded 16 points.
Haverling Coaches vs Cancer Tournament
Penn Yan 50, Bath 47
BATH - Penn Yan edged Bath 50-47 in the Coaches vs Cancer Tournament held in Bath on Wednesday.
After falling behind 24-16 after the first half, the Rams battled back by outscoring the Mustangs 16-11 in the third quarter, but ultimately fell short.
“We just dug ourselves too big of a hole to come back from,” Bath head coach Randy Abrams said. “I was proud of the girls for battling back to make a game of it, but we just fell short.”
Jadyn Abrams had 28 points and seven rebounds to lead the Rams and Mackenna Taggart added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Sydney Bloom led the Mustangs with 20 points.
The Rams will face Odessa-Montour in the varsity consolation game at 3:45PM on Friday, Dec. 29.
Jasper-Troupsburg Christmas Tournament
Hammondsport 54, Bradford 34
JASPER – Hammondsport Lakers took 3rd place over Bradford Braves in the varsity consolation JT Christmas Tournament by a score of 54-34.
The All-Tournament Team player for Hammondsport was Parker Watson shooting 19 points and having 3 assists while the Braves’ All-Tournament Team player was Nick Bailey with five points.
Dillan Conley contributed 13 points and four steals.
Nate Barber with 8 points to lead the Braves.
Tournament totals for Parker Watson was 35 points and for Nick Bailey, 25 points.
Hammondsport 71, Genesee Valley 54
JASPER- The first round of the varsity JT Christmas Tournament went to Genesee Valley vs. Hammondsport 71-54 on Tuesday.
High scorer for the Jaguars was Noah Windus with 26 points.
Parker Watson had 16 points for the Lakers.
Jasper-Troupsburg 75, Bradford 68
JASPER- Jasper-Troupsburg won a four overtime game by a score of 75-68 on Tuesday.
It was an unreal environment,” Bradford head coach Mark LaBarr said. “The gym was loud from both sides which really kept the players motivated during the OTs.
Connor Van Gorden had 37 points for the Wildcats including 24 points in the third quarter and overtime. Devon Hawks had 15 points.
Nick Bailey had 20 points and Nate Barber finished with 17 for the Braves.
“Both teams put it all on the floor tonight where you hate to see someone go home with the loss but it was still an awesome experience for our team and exciting to be a part of,” said LaBarr.

Prattsburgh 75, LeRoy 64
PRATTSBURGH - Prattsburgh used a strong second half to top LeRoy 75-64 in a non-league boys basketball contest on Wednesday.
LeRoy led 41-39 at halftime, but the Vikings took over in the second half.
Prattsburgh outscored LeRoy 36-24 after the break.
“Before the second half we made some defensive adjustments,” Prattsburgh head coach Brian Putnam said. “They did a phenomenal job executing,”
Garrett Socola had 33 points to lead the Vikings and Mason Putnam contributed 27.
For LeRoy, Canyon Roster had 30 points and Leese Tresto posted 15 points.
The Vikings improve to 6-1 with the win and will host Mount Morris on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in their next game.
