"The team this year was great at defending and great at playing offense," he said. "They all did it together. it was fun to watch and fun to be a part of."

Hill, who just completed his 18th season at the helm of the Havering soccer program, attributed all of the success and his winning of the award to everyone who is part of the program.

"It's really like a community award, with a lot of hands involved," said Hill. "We have great coaches and a great group of parents. This is what happens when all of those are connected."
