Prattsburgh 42/Hammondsport 41

PRATTSBURGH | After watching a nine-point lead disappear in the second half, Prattsburgh fought to a 42-41 win against Hammondsport in double overtime in Friday’s SCAA girls basketball game.
Morgan Stratton scored a game-high 21 points for the Vikings (5-8), while Nikki Wise scored six points and Shana Egresi chipped in five points, including the game-winning bucket with 16 seconds left in the second overtime. Hammondsport (9-4) was led by Lorie Gordon’s 10 points, while Katie Pizura scored nine and Korynn House had three points – all coming with a 3-pointer to force a second period.
The two teams will meet again today, this time in Hammondsport.

Boys Basketball/SCAA
Alfred-Almond 47/Hammondsport 39

HAMMONDSPORT | Tyler Baker’s 21 points led Alfred-Almond to a win on the road Friday, in a game that saw a combined 11 3-pointers.
Baker knocked down four treys for the Eagles (4-7), while Chris Cook scored 13 points on the strength of two 3s. Hammondsport (5-8) was led by Trenton Kolo’s 12 points and nine rebounds, while Jordan Schuck netted nine points and five assists.
The Lakers will host Addison on Tuesday.
