But that honor pales in comparison to the honor and pride the town feels for the brave men and women of our armed forces, without whom we could not lay our heads down in peace each night throughout the holiday season and the entire year through.

Holiday postcards for the troops will be available at the Hammondsport Chamber of Commerce between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 and Wednesday, December 5 for anyone wishing to fill one out.
