Bath Police Chief David K. Rouse reports that on Friday, December 7, 2012, the Greater Bath Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Spirit of Christmas event. The event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. and will be held in Pulteney Square Park.
Commencing at approximately 2 p.m., Village Police will begin prohibiting parking on the perimeter of Pulteney Park, inclusive of the west side of Pulteney Square West and the east side of Pulteney Square East. All vehicles must be removed from these locations no later than 5 p.m. or will be subjected to being towed at the owner's expense. At 5 p.m., Pulteney Square East and West will be closed to vehicular traffic.
The Village of Bath apologizes for this inconvenience; however this action is necessary for preparation of the event as well as the safety of the public. During this event, the permit parking area of the Municipal Parking Lot will be open to the public without charge.
