John A. Kulikowski, age  81, of Bath, died Tuesday, March 23 at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1928 in Throope, Pennsylvania the son of Peter and Sophie Novak Kulikowski.

John A. Kulikowski, age  81, of Bath, died Tuesday, March 23 at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1928 in Throope, Pennsylvania the son of Peter and Sophie Novak Kulikowski.
Mr. Kulikowski was an US Army Veteran. He retired from New York State Troopers in 1973 and also retired from Bath National Bank. He graduated from Bath Haverling Central School in 1948. He married Barbara Van Dusen May 4, 1957. He was a member of the Barron Steuben Chapter retired NYS Troopers, he was a lifetime member of the Bath B.P.O.E. 1547 and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed camping, his grandchildren, and being a great grandpa.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Kulikowski of Bath; two sons, John “Mark” Kulikowski and Greg (Chris) Kulikowski of Bath; four grandchildren, Heather (Matthew) Lagonegro of Elmira, Tanner Kulikowski, Tyler Kulikowski and Michaela Kulikowski all of Bath; great grandson, Jacob Lagonegro; special sister-in-law, Mary Kulikowski of Bath; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
John was predeceased by a sister, Sophie Romanki; and two brothers, Henry and Alfred Kulikowski.
Friends called from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 26 at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath. An Elks service was held at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
