  • Corning Community College (CCC) is pleased to recognize  Nancy V. Agan ’83, Director of Student Activities, as the 2012 Ann Marie Rossi ‘76 Alumni-Employee Award. The award is named for Ann Marie Rossi ‘76 (1947-2002), an alumna who taught at CCC until her passing, and recognizes a College employee who is also a graduate that has exhibited an ongoing commitment to the Institution.
    Ms. Agan earned an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration in 1983, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in 2007 and Master of Science in Management in 2010 from Keuka College. She began her professional career with CCC in 1997 as the Accounting Supervisor before moving to the Student Life area in 1999 as the Coordinator of Student Activities and Programs.
     Agan has served on many volunteer committees over her fifteen-year tenure at the College including the Middle States Self Study Steering Committee, New Student Orientation Committee, 50th Anniversary Committee, SUNY College Union and Campus Activities Professionals, and Commencement Committee among many others. She is a recipient of the 2006 CCC RAVE (Recognizing a Valuable Employee) Award and the CCC/Keuka College Joint Presidential Scholarship. She has also received the Audry Hozack New Professional Award from the Association for College Unions International and the Outstanding East Coast Regional Conference Student Delegation Award from the National Association for Campus Activities.
    Ms. Agan resides in Horseheads, NY and continues to give back to the community through her service to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Corning Ladies Professional Golf Association.
    More than 100 guests gathered at Corning Community College’s (CCC’s) Spencer Hill campus on October 20, 2012 to honor Ms. Agan at the College’s annual Reflections event.
