    Open container
    • BATH | Howard Thomas Gilbert, 20, of 6713 Roosevelt Ave., was charged Aug. 7 with open container.
    • BATH | Steven Patrick Mitchell, 27, of 6927 E. William St., Apt. 301, was charged Aug. 8 with open container.
    • BATH | Ronald P. Smith, 51, of 6201 County Route 13, was charged Aug. 10 with open container.
    AUO
    BATH | Melissa D. Pilkerton, 22, of 9182 Glenbrook Road, was charged Aug. 7 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to change address, broken windshield and inadequate/no muffler.
    Falsely reporting
    BATH | Joshua A. Sumers, 20, of 3 E. William St., Apt. 301, was charged Aug. 8 with third-degree falsely reporting an incident.
    Disorderly conduct
    • BATH | Gerald C. Cleveland, II, 43, Homeless, was charged Aug. 8 with disorderly conduct.
    • BATH | Louis Joseph Persichetti, 56, of 11 Howell St., Apt. 202, was charged Aug. 9 with disorderly conduct.
    Criminal possession
    • BATH | William Landsborough, 27, was charged Aug. 8 with  seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and open container.
    • BATH | Junior Wayne Duffy, 36, of 56 1/2 Liberty St., was charged Tuesday with  seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession marijuana.
    Criminal mischief
    • BATH | Bronson L. Mosher, 26, of 56 1/2 Liberty St., Apt. 218, was charged Aug. 10 with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
    • BATH | Christopher James Forsyth, 16, of 1702 1/2 Glenwood Road, Apt. 1, Vestal, was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
    Criminal obstruction
    BATH | Kayla Marie Hatfield, 23, of 6 E. William St., was charged Monday with criminal obstruction of breathing.
    STEUBEN SHERIFFS
    Violation of probation warrant
    LINDLEY | Deputies report the arrest of a Lindley woman Wednesday. Amanda A. Smith, 24, of State Line Road, Lindley for violation of probation warrant. Smith was processed and arraigned and sent to Steuben County Jail with no bail. She is due back in court at a later date.
    Several charges
    WOODHULL | Deputies report the arrest of Brandon P. Saunders, 32, of Fenton Avenue, Greenwood on Tuesday. Saunders was taken into custody at this residence around 11 a.m. The charges stem from a prior incident that occurred in April of 2012. Saunders is charged with second-degree assault, third-degree intimidating a victim or witness, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
    Saunders was arraigned in the town of Woodhull court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $10, 000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond. He will return to court at a later date.
    Violation of parole
    BATH | Deputies report the arrest of Bonnie L. Russell, 61, of West Morris Street in the village of Bath for violation of parole Thursday. Russell entered the Steuben County Office Building for a meeting with the Department of Social Services at which time she was taken into custody. Russell was taken directly to Steuben County Jail. She will appear in the village of Bath court at a later date to answer the charges.

    HORNELLSVILLE | Deputies report the arrest of Nathaniel C. Tigner, 20, of Tobes Hill, Hornell after an investigation into vandalism at the Canisteo Valley Assembly of God Church on Magee Road in the town of Hornellsville. Tigner was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and making graffiti. Tigner was arraigned in the village of Bath court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail with bail set at $20,000 cash or $40,000 property bond. Tigner will reappear in the town of Hornellsville court at a later date.
    Arrest warrant
    CORNING | Deputies report the arrest of Travis L. Olmsted, 27, of W. Second St., Corning at 12:15 p.m. August 9. Olmsted was stopped on a traffic stop in the city of Corning when the Corning Police Department discovered Olmsted had an active arrest warrant out of Steuben County Family Court. Olmsted was turned over to Steuben Deputies. Olmsted was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
    PAINTED POST STATE TROOPERS
    Burglary investigation
    CATON | On August 12, 2012 the NYS Police in Painted Post received a report of a burglary to a garage located at a residence on Telephone Road in the town of Caton. Reported stolen was a 2002 Yamaha YZ250 motocross motorcycle, color clue, with Texas flags on both sides of the radiator. The burglary happened sometime between August 10 and August 12.
