Jasper-Troupsburg 7/Campbell-Savona 1
JASPER | Jasper-Troupsburg opened up its girls soccer season with an offensive burst – topping Campbell-Savona 7-1 Tuesday.
Kaitlin Huyler led the Wildcats with three goals, while Kaeli Johnson chipped in with two. Victorian Strobel and Brooke Van Skiver had one goal apiece, while Allycia Leach had two assists. Jaclyn VanZile recorded two saves in the win.
“It was great that everyone got to play. This game was a real confidence booster,” Jasper-Troupsburg head coach Nancy Wyant said. “We’re off to a great start.”
Campbell-Savona’s goal was scored by Carly Moore. Goalie Katie Smith stopped 13 shots.
The Wildcats will travel to Bath for a 6:30 p.m. game on Saturday.
