  • • Mary A. Fox, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management, at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, has been appointed to serve on the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA). She will serve as scientific expert on the committee, which supports the efforts of the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, for a term of 5 years. Originally from Avoca, NY, Dr. Fox is a graduate of Avoca Central School and the daughter of L. Stanley Fox.
    • Johanna Leisenring, of Bath, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Medaille College.
    • Anthony Miller-Rhodes, of Bath, was part of a team of State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT) students that finished second in the regional qualifying round of the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, the largest competition of its kind in the U.S. Students in SUNYIT's Network and Computer Security Club faced off against teams from all over the Northeast March 8-10 at the competition at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine.
    • Kelsey Lanphere, of Hammondpsort, was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Chapter at Nazareth College.
    • Brandon Walruth, of Bath, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Walruth is a second-year student in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.
    • Matthew Smith, of Bath, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Smith is a first-year student in RIT's College for Applied Science and Technology.
    • Aaron Wordingham, of Prattsburgh, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Wordingham is a fourth-year student in RIT's College for Applied Science and Technology.
    • Katie Smith, of Prattsburgh, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Smith is a fourth-year student in RIT's College of Health Sciences and Technology.
    • Megan Farmer, of Hammondsport, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Farmer is a fourth-year student in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.
    • Elizabeth Reardon, of Hammondsport, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Reardon is a fourth-year student in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.
    • Robert Masti, of Cameron, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Masti is a third-year student in RIT's College of Science.
    • Zane Draper, of Bath, has been named to the Dean's List for the winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Draper is a first-year student in RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

    • Patricia Wallace, daughter of Deborah and the late Joseph Wallace, has been named to the Dean’s List at Keuka College in Keuka Park. Wallace , a junior, is studying Occupational Therapy.
