    Violation of probation
    BATH | Michael D. Lucas, 39, of Lake St., Hammondsport, was arrested Wednesday at approximately 10:35 a.m. at the Steuben County Office Building, Bath after a meeting with his probation officer. Deputies were alerted that Lucas possibly had an active bench warrant for his arrest out of Fairfax County, VA for violation of felony probation.
    Deputies made contact with Fairfax County and determined that hey would extradite Lucas back to Fairfax County to face the charges against him. Lucas' probation stems from an original charge of possession of a controlled substance drug with intent to distribute. After arraignment in the village of Bath court as a fugitive from justice from the State of Virginia he was arraigned in Steuben County Court where he waived extradition and chose to willing return to Virginia. Lucas was remanded to the Steuben County Jail to await extradition.
    Several charges
    HOWARD | Deputies report the arrest of two Avoca men for unlawful possession of marijuana. At about 8:48 p.m. March 3 a deputy conducted a vehicle stop on County Route 70A in the town of Howard where two young men were discovered to be in possession of marijuana following a brief drug investigation. Jake Clarkson, 20, of Connor Hill Road, Avoca, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and cited for failing to use a seat belt. A 17 year old Avoca man was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and cited for failure to keep right. His name is not being released due to youthful offender eligibility. Both men were eventually released on their own recognizance and will appear in the town of Howard court at a later date.
    Inadequate taillights/aggravated unlicensed operation
    CORNING | Chrisan Lichtenstein, 33, of Hermitage Road, Rochester, was charged with inadequate taillights and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on State Route 414 in the town of Corning. Lichtenstein will appear in the town of Corning court at a later date.
    Possession of marijuana/consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle
    BEAVER DAMS | Donald P. Baxter, Jr., 26, of State Route 414, Beaver Dams, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. After deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at Kinsella Park in the town of Erwin. Bazter was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Erwin court at a later date.
    Unlawful possession
    WHEELER | Danielle L. Hafelin, 20, of Sanger Hill Rd., Oriskany Falls, was arrested March 1, 2013 for unlawful possession of marijuana. Hafelin was issued an appearance ticket and a U.T.T. and will appear in the town of Wheeler court at a later date.
    Criminal possession of a weapon
    Page 2 of 2 - WOODHULL | Patrick M. McCaslin, 53, of Lormore St., Elmira, was arrested Feb. 29, 2013 following an investigation of a trespassing report on Allen Rd. in the town of Woodhull. McCaslin was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Woodhull court at a later date. Further charges are pending.
    Several charges
    NUNDA | Roxanne A. Tallman, 56, of Halstead Rd., Nunda, was arrested March 2 after Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 408 in the town of Nunda for driving down the raod with the front passenger side tire missing. Upon interviewing Tallman a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The driver performed standardized field sobriety tests in which she failed. An open bottle of Odessa Vodka was located in the vehicle. She was transported to Geneseo State Police where she registered a .21 percent blood alcohol content. She was subsequently arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a blood alcohol content of .18 percent, felony driving while intoxicated due to prior conviction of driving while intoxicated, drinking alcohol inside a motor vehicle and unsafe tire. She was arraigned in the town of Nunda court where she was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond.
    Several charges
    DUNDEE | Daniel E. White, 45, of Highland Drive, Dundee, was arrested Feb. 25 in the village of Dundee in Yates County for one count of second-degree sexual abuse, one count of forcibly touching and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. A 12 year old victim reported that as they walked home from school, White approached them in an intoxicated state and inappropriately touched them. The child immediately reported the incident to their family and the State Police. Based on a description provided by the victim, White was located and arrested on the above charges. White is currently in Yates County Jail on $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond. He will reappear in the village of Dundee court at a later date.
