  • Emergency Services to visit Civil Defense Center in Bath on Thursday

  • On Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m., the newest addition to area Emergency Services will be making a visit to Bath at the Civil Defense Center on Route 54 for the Steuben County Chiefs meeting.

  • On Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m., the newest addition to area Emergency Services will be making a visit to Bath at the Civil Defense Center on Route 54 for the Steuben County Chiefs meeting. The Steuben Technical Rescue Task Force, which is made up with members from the Bath, Bath VA, Coopers Plains, North and South Corning Fire Departments as well as Steuben County Emergency Services, to introduce the team and their capabilities and for them to see the equipment that is used. The team specializes in technical rescue for building and trench collapse, as well as rope, swift water and confined space rescue.
    All area departments are encouraged to come and see the display of tools and meet some of the team.
