U.S. Rep. Tom Reed’s re-election campaign announced Thursday they’ve received more than $775,000 in donations so far this year.
That’s significantly more than the roughly $680,000 Reed raised in the corresponding period in 2013.
The campaign said more than 1,300 people in the district have donated to Reed’s election efforts since the district was redrawn in 2012.
“I am overwhelmed by the support we have received,” Reed said.
The campaign said donations have come in amounts as small as $5 from all 11 counties in the district.
Full details of the quarterly results weren’t available yet from the Federal Election Commission. However, in the first quarter of 2015, of $313,817 raised, $191,350 came from committees versus $118,063 in individual contributions.
Reed doesn’t yet face a challenger for the seat.
