100 days of pandemic: How coronavirus swept through Delaware

A look back at 3 months that changed the state

It was only 100 days ago when Delaware announced its first coronavirus case. In that time, hundreds have died, thousands have become sick and many, if not almost all, Delawareans are facing a new economic reality.

The virus hasn’t gone away. Face masks and social distancing are still required. New cases and deaths are being announced every day, but at a significantly lower rate — allowing the state to begin reopening its economy. 

As Delaware enters what the governor calls a “new normal,” here’s a look at how The First State responded to the pandemic.
