CORNING - Heritage Village will come to life with traditional demonstrators from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 29, at the 40th Annual Whingblinger Heritage Festival, including hearth cooking, blacksmithing, pottery, basket making, coopering.
The event, held at 73 W. Pulteney St., is fun for the whole family, officials said.
The event features a country store, raffles, and bake sale, live musical entertainment and hands on children’s activities, games, live animals.
The Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes is a collection of historic buildings right in the City of Corning.
Officials said the Village includes a 1796 Inn, 1870s Blacksmith Shop, 1870s one-room Schoolhouse, 1850s log cabin, interactive agricultural barn exhibit, coopering shop, heirloom gardens, and more.
