PAINTED POST - Local businesses including farmers, brewers, crafters and more will come together in two weeks to showcase locally-produced products from around the area as the fall season approaches.

The Finger Lakes Regional Market is set to return from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Watson Homestead Conference and Retreat Center, 9620 Dry Run Road, Painted Post.

“Our goal is to create a unique shopping experience for our guests while they discover everything that is simply Finger Lakes,” Finger Lakes Market Manager Terra Peterson said in a press release.

The fourth-annual event will exclusively feature regional businesses offering locally-grown and locally-made products. There will be locally-produced cheese tastings, local produce from farms such as Ort Farms, Parulski Farm and Ford Farms, and craft beverages from local producers such as Keuka Craft Ciders, Brewery of Broken Dreams and Four Fights Distilling.

Arts and crafts from Betelgeuse Pottery, R&B Baskets and Corning Craftworks, live blacksmithing demonstrations from Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes, kids activities, food from Buck-N-Good Food Truck and Slammin’ Jammin’ BBQ and homemade ice cream from Dippity Do Dahs will also be available.

In all, more than 40 vendors will be present, organizers said.

The event will also feature live music from Naples bluegrass artist Aaron Lipp and guitarist Bobby Henrie, who will perform from noon-3 p.m.
