PULTENEY - Steuben Sheriff’s Deputies completed a full crash reconstruction Tuesday of a one car accident early Saturday morning on County Route 76, near Rugby Road, that took the lives of four passengers.

The victims of the fatal motor vehicle crash, which occurred at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday, were Korbie L. Higgins, 28, of Bath, Coy F. Miner, 26, of Hammondsport, Nicole L. Wise, 25, of Prattsburgh and Adam P. Bellamy, 29, of Pulteney and Ohio.

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard said, Dustin Drake, 30, of Prattsburgh, the driver of the vehicle was airlifted from the scene to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

“Drake was airlifted to the hospital and released later that day,” Allard said.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the one car accident on County Route 76, by a passerby who called 911, Allard said. The vehicle allegedly failed to make a curve of the roadway and hit a large tree.

Allard said the four people killed in the accident where deceased when sheriff’s arrived at the scene.

“We don’t want to say anything until everything is put together,” Allard said. “(The sheriff’s department) is currently getting all of the records from the hospital and completing a crash reconstruction.”

Allard said additional information about the accident is expected to be released by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday afternoon.
