Scott “Scottie” Thomas passed away peacefully at home.

Scottie was born September 8, 1959 in Gloversville, N.Y. The lovely son of the late Dorothy Thomas Miles and Robert Sharpe. He grew up here on the Fairbrother Farm.

Scottie was a self-employed professional flooring installer working mainly with Ed “Pops” Garrigus with The Carpet Rack throughout his life until injury left him
disabled.

Scottie loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, working his flower beds and traveling back to his beloved Adirondacks. But most of all he loved to entertain, throwing a great party with great food and drinks.

Above and beyond, he so much loved his family and friends.

Scottie is survived by his beloved Jodi, son Jerome and family, daughters Charity, Jade Marie and Mary Jo and his stepsons David and Paul. His sisters Serena whom he cherished dearly and Deb, and their families along with his wonderful Fairbrother Family. Scottie also leaves behind brother and sister in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his grandchildren. Scottie also was pre-deceased by his beloved brother Buddy and grandson Jerome Jr.

Scottie will be traveling back to the Adirondacks to his final resting place.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 18 at the White Buck (one of his main stomping grounds) Cohocton, N.Y.

See You On The Other Side.
