George Morris, from New London CT, passed away on June 20, 2018. He graduated first from Hamdon High School, where he was president of the student council. George then went to the University of CT, Storrs and was a member of S.A.E. He left for the U.S.Army and eventually the Air Force. He returned home to marry his first wife, Jeanne MacMaster and continued his education at the University of Bridgeport and graduated 1st in a four year class. He then moved to Rochester, New York as a sales trainee at Graybar Electric. George had an active Masonic Career, serving as Worshipful Master, Northfield Lodge 426 in Pittsford New York, and was a member of Scottish Rites and Damascus Shrine. Beverly P. Stevens joined him as a lifetime partner, making sure by marrying him twice in Winchester, Virginia and Williamsport, P.A. They then started their new adventure together by buying the Chateau Dugas on beautiful Keuka Lake. After the Chateau Dugas he then moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, where he resumed his Masonic friendships in the Daytona Beach Lodge 270, where he became Worshipful Master in 2002 and President Master and Wardens Assoc. and Monarch Zangi Grotto. He is survived by his children Robert, Alan, David, and Susan from his first marriage. Then Rae and George from his second marriage and his Stepdaughter Sharon. He also leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren.
