Kurt D. Waldo passed away peacefully at Flagstaff Medical Center on July 25, 2019 after an extended illness.

Kurt D. Waldo passed away peacefully at Flagstaff Medical Center on July 25, 2019 after an extended illness. His loving wife and children were there by his side.

 

He was predeceased by his parents Theron L. and Laura L. Waldo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years Linda Waldo, his daughter Shanon (Timothy) Fleming, daughter Amanda (EJ) Waldo, son Kurt D. (Brittany) Waldo Jr., and stepdaughter Amanda (Colby) Johnson, all of Arizona. Kurt is also survived by his sister Sharan (Jerry) Waldo and brother Charles K. Waldo. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

 

Kurt was born July 22, 1955 in Bath, NY. He graduated from Haverling Central School, Bath, NY in 1973. He loved sports and played on the football, track, and on the wrestling team. He also sang in the school chorus. He served in the United States Army as a mechanic from 1981 – 1985 and he was stationed in Germany and in Texas. He moved to Arizona with his family where he spent most of his life. He loved that part of the country and remained there to be close to his children. He fell in love, and married his wife Linda in 2003 and they settled in Prescott, AZ.
