Gerald P. Crowe (Jerry) Age 50 of Bath, NY, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  Jerry was born June 13, 1969, to William and Barbara Crowe in Hornell, NY.  He was a 1987 graduate of Haverling High School, where he excelled in baseball.  His love for the game led him to coach his sons in Little League for many years.  In 1998 he coached the 9 and 10-year-old team to the District 6 Championship. From an early age, Jerry enjoyed the game of pool.  He went on to play with many of the top pros from the US and abroad. Jerry won many championships and made many lasting friendships throughout the pool world. He was an avid bowler and achieved a 300 game.  Jerry also loved to hunt, fish, and play golf, where he maintained a single-digit handicap. He was a Buffalo Bills fan through the good and the bad and loved a great session on the craps table. Jerry and his wife Brenda enjoyed touring around in his much loved plumb crazy purple TA Challenger. Jerry worked hard, and he and Brenda owned and operated the Sports Station on Liberty Street for many years.  He also owned and operated Jerry Crowe General Contracting.  Jerry always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met.  He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara, brother Bobby, and mother-in-law Jean Bates.  He is survived by his wife, soulmate, and best friend Brenda Lee Collins Crowe, his sons Taylor Crowe, Bath New York, Jordan (Brooke) Crowe, Webster NY, his father William Crowe, brothers Billy (Jana) Crowe, Danny Crowe, and sister Julie (Bill) Pierce, Brother-in-law Michael (Kylee) Bates, sister-in-law’s Wendy Aumick, and Sandy Issacson and his much loved Springer Spaniels Jani Lane and Lexi Jean and extended family and friends. An Elks service and celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Finger Lakes SPCA, Bath NY, in his memory.
