Beatrice (Bunny) Taber Henaghan
age 86 died on Jan 23, 2021.
She is predeceased by her father Gail Taber, her mother and stepfather Rebecca and Louis Hurd, her brother and sister-in law Gerald and Mary Hyslip, her sister Garnett DeMonstoy of Painted Post, her brother-in laws Reo Bates, Donald DeMonstoy and Floyd Sherwood.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Henaghan, stepdaughter Lorrie Herron of Minn. Her sisters Janet Bates and Sandra Whitaker of Campbell and sister-in law Rose Sherwood, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was born on a small farm in the town of Hornby and was a graduate of Painted Post High School Class of 1953. She also graduated from BCC where she majored in chemistry and worked in her field at GAF/Anitec for 40 years. She remembered those years fondly, the many good friends and good times. She enjoyed playing sports and was a long-time bowler and golfer. She played in leagues at Ely Park for nearly 60 years and loved playing local courses with her "Golf Gals". She also enjoyed a good card game whenever the opportunity arose.
The family would like to give special thanks to Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home in Binghamton for the wonderful care that she received during her time there. Per her request there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Binghamton Meals on Wheels where she was a long-time volunteer or to the charity of your choice.
