Dennis Arlie Farr

Dennis Arlie Farr, 68, of Washburn, MO passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Arlie and Sally Farr. Dennis was a strong and energetic boy and was fiercely passionate about mechanic work from the start, dedicating his life to both his pursuit of mechanic work and his family.

After he graduated, Dennis landed his first job as a spot welder at an air craft plant in Bath, NY. This kickstarted a career in the mechanical field. After that Dennis went into Army intelligence in 1973 and left honorably in 1988. In 1992, Dennis met his wife, Shannon and married in 1996 and spent 25 years of raising 8 children from each previous marriages. Those children gave him 15 grand babies who he dearly loved and was proud to be their grandpa/TaTa.

Dennis was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.

Dennis was also passionate about building and doing steampunk work. He spent most of his retirement tinkering in steampunk, building things for the grandkids and caring for his family.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Arlie and Sally Farr; ex-wife, Valerie Zeno and a daughter-in-law, Christina Farr.

He leaves behind his wife, Shannon; 8 children and 15 wonderful grandchildren. Also great nieces and nephews. He left behind his fur babies as well.

A memorial will be held at CCC Camp in Shell Knob on June 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
