Lantana - Timothy J. Smith, age 44, of Lantana, FL, formerly of Campbell, NY, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from complications from COVID-19.

He was born June 24, 1977 to Stephen and Patricia Smith of Campbell. He graduated from Campbell-Savona High School in 1995 and attended Corning Community College.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jennifer Haggerty Smith; his children, Mackenzie Mosher of Elmira, NY, Caleb Polmanteer of Avoca, NY, and Kyle Smith of Boca Raton, FL.

He is also survived by his brother and best friend, Todd Smith (Ana and niece Allison) of Orlando, FL; aunts and uncles: Paul and Marie Smith of Richardson, TX, Susan and Daniel Cook of Corning, NY, Leon and Carrie Smith of Painted Post, NY, Dodie and Kyle Briggs of Bristol Harbor, NY, James Smith and Robin Wilson of Corning, and Tom and Mary Lou Robson of Schenevus, NY; many cousins and friends in both New York and Florida.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, James and Mary Lou Smith and James and Dorothy Robson; and father-in-law, Michael Haggerty.

Tim grew up enjoying sports of all kinds. He played hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball and golf in his youth. In later years, he focused on golf and skiing, both downhill and water.

In his 44 years, he overcame several obstacles and reached many of his goals, most importantly being a husband, a father to his children, home ownership, part ownership of multiple businesses and starting his own business. He also reached a lifetime goal of owning a home on Keuka Lake.

He will be remembered for his love of life, love of family, his generosity, and a special love for Christmas, which was evident by having four Christmas trees, 50+ poinsettias, and an outdoor display that took weeks to put up and take down.

The family plans to have a celebration of Tim's life next summer at Keuka Lake.

Condolences may be written on the Tribute Wall of Tim's Obituary page at www.haugheyfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations may be sent to Tim's father for Tim's children's college fund at Mr. Stephen Smith, P.O. Box 443, Campbell, NY 14821.

The family wants to thank all friends and relatives for their prayers.
