Hammondsport - Todd Wambold, age 59 of Hammondsport, NY died unexpectedly on January 26th, 2022. Todd was born on November 14th, 1962, to Roberta Bailey-Wambold and Clark Wambold. Todd was a graduate of West High School in Madison, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Todd was preceded in death by his mother and his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his loving companion Keli Machuga; two sons Brian Wambold (Kelsey Mueller) and Sam Wambold (Rachel Anderson) (their mother Angela Hall); his daughter Lucy Wambold (her mother Susan Becker); his father Clark Wambold; his sister Beth Wambold (Gordon Heingartner); his nephews Jake Byers, Nick Byers, Louis Byers; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. Todd spent his youth in Hammondsport and Geneseo, NY, Lawrence, KS, and grew into adulthood in Madison, WI. Todd returned to his roots in the Bath/Hammondsport area eight years ago where he was employed by The Arc Allegany-Steuben. He had a passion for taking care of others. Todd had a way of lighting up a room with his jovial demeanor and sense of humor. He loved his family, enjoyed time with friends, bicycling, cooking, golfing, spending time near Keuka Lake, and watching Wisconsin sports. A celebration of Todd's life will take place this upcoming summer in Hammondsport at the family's convenience.
