Barbara Jean Wager, age 94, of Bath, NY died Monday, April 18, 2022 at Elderwood at Hornell. She was born in Wellsboro, PA July 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Donald and Hazel (Reamer) Francis. Mrs. Wager had worked as a Telephone Operator years ago. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Bath. She was deeply dedicated to her Standardbred Horses and raced them for years with her husband and son. She is survived by her son, David (Cindy) Wager; grandsons, Derick (Sarah) Wager and Drew Wager (Lydia Feree); great grandsons, Wyatt and Easton and five nieces. She was predeceased by her husband William Wager; sisters, Betty Battles and Mary Longwell and brother James Francis. Family and friends were received at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Friday April 22nd from 11:00 am-1:00 pm for the visitation, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm, and a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
