CORNING - Ithaca won 11 of 12 events on its way to a 114-69 victory over Corning Wednesday in Southern Tier Athletic conference girls swimming matchup.

Gwendolyn Lindberg led the Little Red with two individual wins in the 200 yard freestyle (2:10.31) and the 100 yard backstroke (1:03.13) and Ilah Jefferis (200 yard individual medley; 2:25.93), Chole Giovannoni (50 yard freestyle; 26.73), Lucia Salfi (1 meter diving; 245.45), Willa Royce-Roll (100 yard butterfly; 1:00.85), Lexi Moravek (100 yard freestyle; 57.86), Elise Nishii-Kim (500 yard freestyle (5:24.77) and Irene Hwang (100 yard breaststroke; 1:13.91) all earned single individual wins.

Corning's lone win came in the 400 yard freestyle when the team of Katherine McKane, Leah Palmesano, Alina Levine and Vanessa Turner finished first in 4:06.41. McKane placed a close second in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:26.09 and Palmesano took second in the 50 yard freestyle in 27.19.

Lindberg, Nishii-Kim, Royce-Roll and Giovannoni earned a win in the 200 yard medley relay for the Little Red in 1:58.85 and the relay of Nishii-Kim, Moravek, Reese Mount and Giovannoni placed first in the 200 yard freestyle relay.

Corning will next swim Saturday when it faces off against Maine-Endwell, Union-Endicott, Norwich, Chenango Valley, Elmira Notre Dame and Waverly in Waverly.
