PRATTSBURGH - Prattsburgh topped Jasper-Troupsburg 36-28 Tuesday in the first round of the Steuben County Tournament.
"As poorly as we shot, we're lucky to come away with a win tonight, we got the shots we wanted, they just wouldn't fall," Prattsburgh head coach Jeff Gilbert said. "We'll take the win but it sure wasn't pretty."
Alexis Weldy led the Vikings with 13 points while Lucia D’Arpino, Emi Moore and Morgan Edwards all added six points.
D’Arpino pulled down 29 rebounds.
Hammondsport 55 Arkport-Canaseraga 25
HAMMONDSPORT - Number 4 seeded Hammondsport topped Arkport-Canaseraga 55-25 Tuesday in the Steuben County Tournament.
Ana Salom led the Lakers with 16 points.
Hammondsport led 15-10 after eight minutes and 32-16 at the break.
Watkins Glen 63, Elmira Notre Dame 39
WATKINS - Taylor Kelly netted 28 points as Watkins Glen got offensive in a 63-39 win over Elmira Notre Dame.
The Senecas only led 13-11 after one quarter, but outscored the Crusaders 39-18 in the next two quarters.
Hannah Morse also added 12 points for Watkins Glen.

Elmira 58, Binghamton 48
ELMIRA - Elmira clinched the STAC West title with a 58-48 victory over Binghamton Tuesday.
"It’s a lot of time, hard work and effort on the part of the kids," Elmira head coach Ryan Johnson City of the title. "I’m proud of them. They deserved this. We have one more title in mind."
The Express jumped out to a 50-19 lead after the first half, but were outscored 27-18 in the final 16 minutes.
"Tale of two halves," said Johnson. "We were excellent in the first half and blah in the second half. Binghamton didn’t quit so give them credit. We played not to lose not to win. We have to clean up a few things, but overall a good effort."
Markel Jenkins had 20 points and 18 rebounds for the Express and Daron Driscol added 11 points.
CAYUGA - Corning Commmunity College traveled to Cayuga Community College 67-58 Monday in a women’s college basketball matchup.
Cayuga led after one quarter, 19-17, but the Red Barons used a strong second quarter to take a 35-28 lead at the break.
Corning and Cayuga were about even in the second half, with the Red Barons Cayuga 32-30 over the final two frames.
Taylor Herberget led the Red Barons with 19 points and 6 assists while Taylor Sutryk posted 16 points and Katelyn Artibee chipped in 11 points and eight rebounds.
Corning improves to 10-10 with the win and will host Tompkins Cortland Community College Today at 5 p.m.
