The Addison Knights came back from a 5-0 deficit to defeat the Campbell-Savona Panthers 6-5 Monday in a Steuben County Athletic Association baseball matchup.
Campbell-Savona jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning behind four Addison errors.
Addison responded with a run in the second inning after a single from Trent Makowiec led to a sacrifice fly from Keegan Risley.
The Knights scored one in the third inning on a home run from Colby Jones and added two runs in the fourth inning as Jones came up big again with a 2 RBI single.
To complete the comeback, Addison scored two in the sixth behind two hits, a walk, and a Campbell-Savona error.
After giving up five runs in the first inning, the combination of Gage Ames, Jaret Mahnke, and Bradyn Coletta held Campbell-Savona scoreless for the final 6 innings. Mahnke picked up the win in relief and Coletta recorded a save. Colby Jones led the Addison offense with 3 hits including the home run.
Derek Goll recorded a double for Campbell-Savona.
Addison travels to Alfred-Almond for league play Wednesday night at 5:00 while Campbell-Savona will host Canisteo-Greenwood today at 4:30 p.m.
