The Steuben County Athletic Association volleyball rosters were announced along with Most Valuable Players.

Seniors Brianna Pratt and Julia Bennett took home co-MVP’s for Hammondsport.

Pratt recorded 56 aces, 21 kills, 20 digs and 646 setter assists for Hammondsport from the setter position.

"She has been setting at the varsity level since her freshman year, and she's good at getting the ball where we need it to be for our attackers," Hammondsport head coach Erica Webster said. "Continued to work hard each year and improve and that's why our front row and our front row was able to have as many kills as they've had. She can take passes whether they are two-target or not and put them where we need them to be."

Bennett posted 239 kills, 36 blocks, 38 aces, and 46 digs as a middle hitter.

"Julia dominates in the front row," said Webster. "She really just excels there, that's her home and where she should be. She's another player that just continued to strive to be better each year. She can terminate where she out outside, middle or right side."

Along with having co-MVP’s, Hammondsport put seven additional players on the first and second teams combined after a 21-2 record and a Section V Class D3 title.

"Many of our players play in the offseason, so the dedication to the sport and their craft of getting better is what is shown in us getting that many nominations," Webster said.

Those who earned first team honors included Vittoria Cateni, Angela Gonzo and Erika Hilligus for Hammondsport along with Holly LeFrance (Arkport), Kat Hamblin (Addison) and Elizabeth Moultrup (Campbell-Savona).

Earning second team honors were Bailey Fletcher, Sierra Montague, Ashley Dumbleton and Amanda O’Donnell from Hammondsport along with Tristyn Risley (Addison), Marley Adams (Wellsville) and Sierra Andrews (Campbell-Savona).
