CORNING - Union-Endicott topped Corning 43-36 Wednesday in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference wrestling contest.

“We have a lot of young guys in the lineup, so kind of hard putting them in this kind of position,” Corning head coach Zakk Rolfe said. “U-E came ready to go. They looked good.”

Corning was led by pin fall victories from Riley Walker (1:50 first period), Drew Witham (:34 first period), Charles Loucks (1:17 first period) and Ethan Hart (1:33 first period).

“My studs kind of did their job and took care of business,” said Rolfe.

Camden McConnell earned a pin fall victory at 220 in the second period.

“Camden McConnell was getting into his offense,” said Rolfe. “That’s what we’ve been working on all week long. That was good to see.”

Cole Riyell, Jayden Roldan, Rylan Roberts and Gawan Shabazz earned wins for Union-Endicott.
