Ordway sings songs from the Civil War
Bath singer-songwriter (and P.E. teacher) Brad Ordway will be singing the greatest hits of the (eighteen) sixties Friday, January 6 at the Bath Fire Hall on Morris Street.
Ordway, whose performance venues include the Nite Lite Café and Steuben County Fair, also co-directs the St. Mary’s choir. His numbers will include Union, Confederate, and slavery songs.
The 4 p.m. event is the first in Steuben County Historical Society’s monthly Winter Lecture Series for 2012. Society director Kirk House will give some brief historical commentary with the songs. The years 2011 through 2015 mark the sesquicentennial of the Civil War.
Ordway’s performance is free and open to the public.
