Holiday donation opportunities abound

As the holidays near, there are many local organizations in need of holiday donations. Without the assistance of volunteers and donors, these programs would not be able to help.

The needs are greater than ever, but we know there are a lot of people in our community who will help others this year," said Carol Wood, director of 2-1-1 HELPLINE. There are many agencies offering special programs for the holidays including adopt-a-family programs and volunteer opportunities to wrap and distribute presents. They include:
