Quota Club hosts district officials at monthly dinner meeting

Quota International of Bath held their regular monthly dinner meeting hosted by Judy Hunter, President. The purpose of the dinner was to welcome  District 17 officials, Kathy Bucierka, Governor; Nancy Schott, Secretary/Treasurer, and Bernie Schott, charter member, all of Amherst, NY, and district Lieutenant Governor, Donna Gerych, of Bath.

Governor Bucierka attended the annual Quota International convention held in Hawaii in July. Governor Bucierka discussed related changes within the district effective 2014, Quota by-laws, developing friendships, membership recruitment, and the importance of volunteer service within our communities. District 17 is comprised of five clubs:  Bath, East Aurora, Batavia, Amherst and Hamburg.

Quota Club of Bath continues to monitor and service the clothing shed located in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Church.  The clothing is collected by truck for transport throughout the United States and third world countries where needed. The Bath group is planning a trip to Farmington, NY, to learn first-hand the process involved in building and maintaining this important project.

President Hunter introduced new officers for Bath:  Norm Brush, Vice President, Judy Gilmartin, Secretary, and Charlene Martin, Treasurer.
