BATH | Seth J. Westbrook, 23, of 3932 Mill Road, was charged Jan. 20 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no headlamps/inclement weather and a bench warrant.

Unlawful imprisonment

BATH | Stephen John Wight, Jr., 27, of 56 1/2 Liberty St., Apt. 216, was charged Jan. 22 with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment.

Criminal mischief

CAMPBELL | Troopers report the arrest of an individual following an investigation into a report of a fire intentionally sent inside a residence. On Wednesday Vincent M. Gee, 20, of 8832 State Route 415 Campbell was arrest and charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Dec. 17, 2011 Gee did intentionally cause damage to an interior door of a residence located in Campbell. Gee was released on recognizance and is to reappear in the town of Campbell court at a later date.

Criminal sexual act

ADDISON | Troopers report the arrest of Jeremy D. Causer, 16, of Addison on Monday for first-degree criminal sexual act. The arrest came following a joint investigation between New York State Police and Steuben County Child Protective Services alleging Causer had sexual contact with an eight year old child. Causer is currently being held in the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

Grand larceny investigation

CAMPBELL | Troopers report that on January 19 they received a report of a larceny from a construction trailer at a job site located near Mills Road and State Route 415 in the town of Campbell. Assorted power tools were stolen including drills, nailers, saws, a compressor and assorted hoses and electric cords. The tools were of the following name brads: Dewalt, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Hitachi, Ridgid, Skil and Power Glide. Rape, endangering welfare of a child

URBANA | Steuben County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit reports the arrest of a town of Urbana resident for an incident that occurred around December 8, 2011 in the town of Urbana. On Thursday deputies responded to a local area school in the village of Bath to investigate a report of a 14 year old female who had been raped near the intersection of Cold Spring Road and Fish Hatchery Road in the town of Urbana. The investigation conducted throughout the morning on Thursday led to an 18 year old male suspect being taken into custody for questioning Thursday afternoon at the BOCES Wildwood facility in the town of Hornellsville.

Charged Thursday in connection to the reported rape incident was Dakota J. Mastin, 18, of Cold Spring Road was charged with one count of second-degree rape and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. Charges stem from Mastin allegedly having sexual intercourse with with a 14 year old female around December 28 under a bridge located at the intersection of Cold Spring Road and Fish Hatchery Road.

Mastin was arraigned in the town of Urbana on the above charges where he was remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $750 cash/$1,500 property bail. An order of protection was also issued for the victim and Mastin is scheduled to reappear in the town of Urbana court at a later date.

Violation of probation warrant

• CAMPBELL | Deputies report the arrest of a town of Campbell resident Thursday evening. Kristin L. Morse, 21, of Stony Ridge Road, Campbell was wanted on a felony violation of probation warrant. Morse was sent to the Steuben County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.

• CAMPBELL | Deputies report the arrest of Tyler Reed, 20, of Knowles Road, Campbell Tuesday, on a charge of violation of probation stemming from his original charge of reckless driving. Reed was arrested at the Steuben County Office Building in Bath about about 1:30 p.m. Reed was arraigned in the town of Campbell. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail. Reed is scheduled to return to the town of Campbell court at a later date.

• AVOCA | Deputies report the arrest of a 17 year old male of County Route 8 in Avoca Tuesday, on a charge of violation of probation stemming from his original charge of first-degree attempted rape. The individual was arrested at the Steuben County Office Building in Bath at about 3 p.m., his name is not being released because of his youthful offender status. The youth was arraigned and remanded to the Steuben County Jail. He was set to return to court at a later date to answer the charges against him.

• BATH | Deputies report the arrest of a Bath resident on January 21. Michael E. Myers, 29, of Denwood Terrance was taken into custody on a Steuben County violation of probation warrant. Myers was placed on probation for a Dec. 2010 conviction of promoting a sexual performance by a child. Myers was taken to the Steuben County Jail to await arraignment in Steuben County Court.

• BATH | Deputies report the arrest of Nichole Renee Sullivan, 22, on January 22. Sullivan was arrested on a Steuben County felony violation of probation warrant. She was remanded to the Steuben County Jail to await arraignment.

MVA, DWI, failure to keep right

RIVERSIDE | Deputies report the arrest of a town of Erwin resident January 19. Lizbeth A. Parent, 44, of Overbrook Road, Erwin after a one car motor vehicle accident in the village of Riverside. Parent was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. Parent was issued tickets and released. Parent will appear in the town of Corning court at a later date.
