Why not use $20,000 towards Meals on Wheels

The County Finance Committee needs to look deeper for cuts, and no pay raises for department heads.

We people who are on Social Security or Retirement, did not receive a three percent raise in cost of Living Allowance. Our expenses rise everyday.

The $20,000 one time money for horses doesn't sound like horse sence to me.

Why not take the $20,000 and apply it toward Meals on Wheels, as we seniors would take advantage of that program.

Maybe people wouldn't have to choose between medicine or food.
