Bath K2 lacrosse team fights hard

The Bath K2 lacrosse team lost two hard fought battles. On Monday, June 6 the team travelled to Bloomfield and lost 3-2. Scoring goals for the little laxers were Ian DiDomineck and Jose Englert. Those goals were assisted by Brody Baldwin and Jamie O’Neil. Brayden Noteware and Anthony Prisco each recorded a save in the goal. The team was lead in groundballs by Mason Jarboe with five followed closely by Brody Baldwin and Trevor Jeffery with four each.

On Saturday, June 11 the team hosted Geneva. It was a back in forth contest that eventually saw the team going down by a score of 4-3. Scoring goals for the team were second graders Ian DiDomineck and Jose Englert. The other goal was scored by Kindergartener Justin Yehl.  Assisting on the goals were Keefer Calkins, Mason Jarboe, and Trevor Jeffery.  Mason Jarboe led the team with nine groundballs, followed closely by DJ Smith and Trevor Jeffery with seven each. Corbin Simmons, Mason Jarboe and Ian DiDomineck each recorded at least one save in the goal. The coaching staff agreed that this was the best game the team has played all year. They are beginning to catch passes and get many shots on goal. The will team traveled to Hobart College for its final tournament of the year on June 18. The players have come a long way and it has been fun watching them get better each week.
