Addison girls hold off Prattsburgh

Addison held off Prattsburgh Saturday in a back-and-forth girls basketball battle, 43-41.

The Knights (3-1, 2-0) got off to a 13-11 lead after the opening quarter, but the Vikings were able to shave off a point in the second quarter as Addison held a 22-21 advantage at halftime.

Prattsburgh, led by 14 points from Becky Seager and 10 points from Shana Egresi, outscored the Knights 14-12 in the third quarter to grab a 35-34 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Addison regained control in the fourth quarter and held on for the two-point victory.

Rachael Sutryk and Kelly DuVall had 13 points apiece for Addison. Sutryk also tallied five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Ashlee Sutryk chipped in nine points to go with seven rebounds and six steals.
