Bath Haverling 158/Dansville 156

BATH | Bath Haverling held off a late-charging Dansville squad to post a 158-156 swimming victory Wednesday.

Following Dansville’s 1-2-3 sweep in the 100 breaststroke, the Rams needed and got a second place finish in the final event of the meet – the 400 free relay.

“We were leading 144-123 heading into the breaststroke,” Bath head coach Dan Easterbrook said. “It was a close meet. We couldn’t shake them.”

Bath got winning efforts from Mike Conley (200 IM), Peter Skelly (diving), Alex Reber (100 free) and Joe Skelly (500 free). The 200 free relay team of Reber, Conley, Tyler Easterbrook and Joe Skelly also earned a win.

Bath will host Perry at 5 p.m. today.


Bath Haverling 47/Geneseo 36

BATH | Fueled by pins from Jacob Schlink (145 pounds), Jesse Conrad (170), Anthony Force (195), Bryan Wilson (220) and Wyatt Hall (285), Bath Haverling picked up a 47-36 victory over Geneseo Wednesday.

The Rams also got decisions from Suraj Patel (106), R.J. Metz (113) and Mitchell Buckley (152).
