Girls Basketball/Nonleague

Odessa-Montour 46/Campbell-Savona 26

ODESSA | Taylor Carey posted a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds Friday to pace Odessa-Montour in a 46-26 victory over Campbell-Savona.

Kirsta Rhodes added seven points for the Indians.

Nikki Poplaski led Campbell-Savona with seven points, while teammates Lekysha Snyder and Summer Wulff each chipped in with six points.

Odessa-Montour (4-2) will play at Candor at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 20.

Swimming

BATH | Michael Conley and Joe Skelly each put together triple-win efforts Friday to lead the Bath Haverling swim team to a 165-140 victory over Perry.

Conley placed first in the 500 freestyle in 5:43.48 and also helped the Rams to triumphs in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay. Skelly bested the field to win the 100 butterfly in 1:01.56 and also helped Bath finish first in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.

Tyler Easterbrook was also part of Bath’s two relay wins.

The Rams got individual wins from Drew Snavely in the 200 freestyle (2:13.55), Peter Skelly in diving (227.77) and Colin Gilbert in the 100 backstroke (1:06.34).

Campbell-Savona 56/Canisteo-Greenwood 23

CANISTEO | Alex Nolton netted 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds Friday to pace Campbell-Savona in a 56-23 win over Canisteo-Greenwood.

Tyler VanDerhoff chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists for the Panthers, while teammate Mitchell Allen added five points, five steals and three assists.

Campbell-Savona (4-1) will host Cuba-Rushford at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20.

“This was a great team defensive effort,” Campbell-Savona head coach Merlin Button said. “We held them to single-digits in all four quarters.”

Prattsburgh 74/Bradford 36

PRATTSBURGH | Isaiah King poured in a team-high 15 points as Prattsburgh cruised to a 74-36 victory over Bradford Friday.

Marcus Risley added 13 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Vikings, while teammate Joe Anderson chipped in with 10 points.

Jasper-Troupsburg 53/Hammondsport 45

HAMMONDSPORT | Rob Adams erupted for a game-high 25 points to propel Jasper-Troupsburg to a 53-45 win over Hammondsport.

Bryan Guild knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and finished with eight points for the Wildcats. Tyler VanSkiver added seven points in the win.

Trenton Kolo poured in a team-best 13 points for the Lakers and teammate Ryan Eckel went for eights and pulled down seven rebounds. Hammondsport’s Matt Peterson grabbed a team-high nine boards to go with his five points.

Hammondsport (2-2) will play at Arkport at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Bath Haverling 48/ Wayland Cohocton 41 (overtime)

WAYLAND | Jordan Yastremski scored a monster 20-point, 23-rebound double-double Friday, leading Bath Haverling to a second-half surge and the Rams’ fifth win of the season.

Courtney Coots scored 18 points for Bath (5-0), while Sam Reed chipped in 10 points. Way-Co (2-2) was led by Ashley Heiman’s 16 points and Diane Clark’s 12.

“We found a way in the fourth to get back and get it tied up and win it,” said Randy Abrams, coach for Bath, which came back from eight points down in the fourth quarter to win at Wayland-Cohocton for the first time in six years.
