Webster Christian 39/Prattsburgh 32

PRATTSBURGH | The Vikings found themselves in a 14-3 first quarter hole they could not get out of in a 39-32 defeat at the hands of Webster Christian Wednesday.

Elijah Fletcher and Dan Herring had nine points each for Webster Christian.

Prattsburgh countered with 11 points from Isaiah King and eight points from Marcus Risley.

Prattsburgh will host Bradford at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the Vikings annual Christmas Tournament.

Hammondsport 42/Arkport 29

HAMMONDSPORT | Lori Gordon netted a game-high 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds Wednesday to lead Hammondsport to a 42-29 victory over Arkport.

Elizabeth Kolodziejczak put together a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Lakers. Teammate Elizabeth Albright pulled down eight rebounds in the win.

“Outrebounding (Arkport) helped us win the game and Lori Gordon did a nice job of attacking the basket to put us ahead,” Hammondsport head coach Kelley Meade said.

Allison Gibson led Arkport (3-2) with 12 points.

Hammondsport (5-2) will play Campbell-Savona at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alfred State holiday tournament.
