Prattsburgh 46/Canisteo-Greenwood 45
PRATTSBURGH | Isaiah King netted a game-high 14 points and spurred a second-half comeback that concluded with Prattsburgh’s 46-45 SCAA boys basketball win over Canisteo-Greenwood.
Each of King’s six steals came in the second half and he hit key free throws down the stretch – going 4-for-5 from the line – to help the Vikings prevail.
Michael Schuck finished with seven points and eight rebounds for Prattsburgh, while teammate Nate Underhill added eight points and some important free throws in the fourth quarter.
Tim Knight and Paul Harkenrider each scored 10 points to lead Canisteo-Greenwood (2-6).
Prattsburgh (6-3) will host Batavia Notre Dame at 5 p.m. this Saturday.
Campbell-Savona 60/Hammondsport 56 (OT)
HAMMONDSPORT | Campbell-Savona’s Mitchell Allen hit seven 3-pointers and scored 27 points to led the Panthers to a 60-56 overtime victory over Hammondsport.
Campbell-Savona started the overtime period with a 6-0 run and held onto its lead to win.
Allen also recorded six rebounds, six assists and five steals in a great performance. Caleb Drumm helped, scoring 11 points and Alex Nolton chipped in 10 points. Terry Pavlick dished out 11 assists to go with his four points.
Hammondsport was led by Kevin Benedict’s 14 points. Ryan Eckel helped, scoring 13 points and Jordan Schuck chipped in 11 points.
Campbell-Savona will travel to play Addison at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
Indoor Track/LCAA Meet
ROCHESTER | Bath Haverling’s Lauren Cook broke her own school record in the 1,000 meters, running a time of 3:14.14 on Friday.
Bath’s Ireland Armstrong won the pole vault after clearing 9-feet, 6-inches.
Bath’s Cody Marvin finished third in the 300 meters with a time of 37.96 seconds, a full second ahead of teammate Jimmy Tunison, who placed fourth.
Hammondsport 43/Campbell-Savona 24
CAMPBELL | Hammondsport got out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and never relinquished it as the Lakers beat Campbell-Savona 43-24.
Hammondsport was led by Elizabeth Kolodziejczak, who put together a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Lori Grordon helped the Lakers’ cause with 10 points and six assists, while teammate Katie Pizura chipped in nine points, all from behind the 3-point arc.
Campbell-Savona was led by Summer Wulff’s seven points.
Campbell-Savona (1-8) will host Odessa-Montour at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Hammondsport (7-3, 5-2) will host Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
