Campbell-Savona 47/Bradford 15 ??

BRADFORD | Mitchell Allen poured in 24 points and had 10 steals Monday to lead Campbell-Savona to a season-opening 47-15 win over Bradford.??

Allen caught fire from long range, connecting on 4-of-5 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc. Jake Wilson added six points, seven rebounds and three blocks for the Panthers.

??“I thought in the first half, we were a little hesitant and it looked like our first game,” said Campbell-Savona’s first-year head coach Collin Wright. “I thought we turned it up in the second half. We didn’t give up a field goal in the second half.”??

Nick Machuga led Bradford with five points. The Braves were limited to just three field goals for the entire game.??

“I thought Bradford played hard,” Wright said. “They took it to us on the offensive glass.”??

Campbell-Savona (1-0) will host Naples at 7:15 p.m. today.??


??Bolivar-Richburg 3/Prattsburgh 1 ??

RICHBURG | Josh Presher recorded 14 kills, five blocks and two aces Monday, but it wasn’t enough for Prattsburgh in a 19-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-14 loss to Bolivar-Richburg.

??C.J. Updyke led Bolivar-Richburg (1-0) with 11 assists, six aces and four kills, while teammate Brian Lewis added six kills, five aces and three digs.??

Will Stockton served up 14 points, six aces and dished out eight assists for the Vikings. It was the first match of the season for both teams.??

Prattsburgh (0-1) will host Genesee Valley Dec. 10 at 6 p.m.
