Monday Night Football's MVP looked a little different this week: it had four legs.

During the second quarter of the Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants game Monday night, a black cat appeared on the field and, seemingly confused, trotted around near the end zone, momentarily stopping the game with just around five minutes left in the first half.

According to USA Today, stadium security helped guide the cat off the field into a tunnel.

MetLife Stadium officials announced on Twitter that the cat disappeared under a seating area, but they would take it to a veterinarian as soon as it was safely captured.

The Cowboys beat the Giants 37-18.
